Started working on the face this morning.

This WIP sculpt of Mary Jane is based on an image from J. Scott Campbell. Sculpted in Castilene (wax)

It's off to a good start.

I find it helps to turn on as many lights as possible with the curtains open at midday.

Thanks Tim.. now if I could just get my camera to take better pics!! Outside pics are great.. as you can see with some of my Purgatori images... inside pics... it sucks for those lol. Thanks for the positive comments, I'm really enjoying working on this one. The wax can sometimes be quite frustrating but sometimes it's so much easier than clay. Definitely already can see the face is going more in the right direction compared to the clay head I originally made.

defininately Jrerm. i love her. real nice gesture you caught there mate. i have the same probs with indoor pics. only got a little camera; that said, your pics look pretty decent to me... :D
